In my volunteer capacity with K9 Advocates, I may have access to confidential and/or proprietary information belonging to the Rescue, including but not limited to name, address, contact and financial information of fosters, donors and other supporters or sponsors. I agree to keep all this information strictly confidential and refrain from using it for my own purposes or disclosing it to anyone outside of K9 Advocates. I agree that, upon conclusion of my volunteering period, I will immediately return to K9 Advocates any and all of its property, equipment, and documents, including electronically stored information. I understand unauthorized disclosure of confidential or privileged information is a serious violation of this policy and I will be subject to appropriate discipline, including removal/dismissal. Indemnity Clause *

Although every attempt will be made to ensure your safety, animals are by their nature, unpredictable in behaviour. Accordingly, as a volunteer, you agree to the following conditions: I hereby agree to hold K9 Advocates, its Officers, Directors, Employees, and Volunteers forever harmless for any damage to personal property or any injury whatsoever that I may suffer as a result of my volunteer activities with K9 Advocates. This includes, but is not limited to, bites, scratches, and communicable illnesses or pests contracted from any animal. I am aware that as a volunteer of K9 Advocates, I am acting as a representative of the organization and agree to act responsibly at all times by maintaining a professional demeanor and protecting the rescued animals from any harm while they are in my possession or care.

Age Declaration *

You must be 18 years or older to volunteer with the dogs (some exceptions can be made depending on the situation/volunteer opportunity). Volunteers under 18 years of age require a parental or legal guardian to be in attendance and the guardian must also fill out a volunteer waiver. This waiver applies to all events and volunteer opportunities that I attend as a volunteer for K9 Advocates.
